Hello there! Thanks for stopping by. I live in a regular house- nothing super special here, but it is home to me, and filled with lots of noise, activity, and love. My home is constantly changing, as I am figuring out my own personal design preferences and work within my budget. Most of the items in my home came from Consignment shops, Craigslist, or Ikea. I love a good bargain and I love to re-use and re-purpose furniture that someone else no longer needs. With my four children, I also need furniture that can withstand a lot of abuse- crumbs, spills, and unwanted pen/marker/permanent marker spots are all regular occurrences at my house. With that said, I think it’s interesting to look at how other people live, so I thought you might enjoy a little tour. So come on in!

I love the colors! Very soothing and relaxing! A couple of questions, what color did you use for the walls and how do you keep your carpets so clean with little children?! Very impressive!

Thanks, Rachel! The living room and office are both Sweet Slumber by Valspar. As for the carpet, it’s amazing how great carpet looks from afar! LOL! I’m actually going to review my carpet cleaner this week, so you’ll know exactly what I do with my carpet. Come back and check it out. 🙂
